Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
moderateStar Wars: Galaxy's Edge
Rise of the Resistance begins with a pre-show briefing from Rey and BB-8, then a transport ship launch before you're captured and pulled aboard a First Order Star Destroyer. What follows is a room-to-room escape sequence of escalating awe. Live actors interact with guests throughout, blurring the line between theme park and immersive theater. The ride vehicle itself is only a fraction of the experience — this is an 18-minute production.

Indiana Jones Adventure
moderate–highAdventureland
From the moment you step into the queue — a winding, dimly lit archeological dig site filled with sound effects, working props, and hidden Easter eggs — Indiana Jones Adventure immerses you before you ever board a vehicle. The Enhanced Motion Vehicles (EMVs) simulate off-road conditions with pitching and yawing that makes every ride feel different. Inside the temple, Indy himself appears via a life-size Audio-Animatronic while fire, snakes, and a collapsing ceiling close in around you. The famous boulder scene near the exit still gets gasps from repeat riders.

Haunted Mansion
lowNew Orleans Square
The experience begins in a portrait gallery that slowly stretches, with the Ghost Host narrating your descent. From there, Doom Buggies carry you through 999 meticulously themed rooms — a library of floating candles, Madame Leota, a roaring ballroom with waltzing ghosts, and a spirited graveyard finale. The Disneyland version uniquely exits through an outdoor stretch of New Orleans bayou before returning inside. The 2023 expansion added a new pet cemetery queue and revamped retail shop.
