The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash

I'll say this straight — I am not the target audience for a 34-inch dark ride about stray puppies, and I still think this thing is genuinely well built. 64 animatronics, a queue that's better designed than half the actual rides here, and zero scares. Easy win for families.

DreamWorks Theatre is a motion-simulation show wearing a theater's clothing — 180-degree projection, physical effects, and seats that pivot and swivel in tandem with the action (all per Universal's 2018 release). Universal's ride height page does not list a height rule for it, so check at the entrance. Stationary seating is available, per Universal's rider's guide, read October 17, 2026.

High Thrill4.9 / 5

USH finally has a real outdoor coaster, and it's officially open. 72 mph, four launches, spinning cars, inverting elements — an Intamin machine in a Fast & Furious skin that officially opened September 16, 2026, per Universal. Confirmed specs are here; my firsthand verdict is still pending.

Revenge of the Mummy

High4.8 / 5

Revenge of the Mummy is better than anything at Disneyland. I said what I said. It's a launched indoor coaster that goes from 0 to 45 mph in the dark and most people walk past it because it looks old from the outside. Those people are wrong and I feel sorry for them.
