If your schedule is flexible, look for weekday visits in September specifically; the resort has run discounted single-day, single-park tickets on select September dates in past seasons as a lever to fill lower-demand days.

October weekends, and the days immediately surrounding Halloween, are the busiest of the entire season. If you're choosing between a September weekday and an October weekend for the same trip, take the September weekday every time — you'll get shorter lines and the same décor.
