Grizzly River Run
About this ride
The raft seats eight guests in a circular arrangement and spins unpredictably as it navigates the river circuit. Where you sit relative to the waterfalls and sprayers is partly random and partly deterministic — the drop section tends to soak guests on one particular side. Best on a hot Southern California day; genuinely miserable on a cold one.
Best time to ride
Perfect for hot summer days (May–September). Not recommended for cold days, evening rides, or any day when you're not prepared to be significantly wet.
Insider tips
- Wear a poncho or accept that you will get soaked — there's no reliable way to stay dry.
- Lockers are available near the ride for electronics and valuables — use them.
- Seats closer to the outside of the raft tend to get wetter from water jets.
- Ride early in the day when it's warm and the drying time is pleasant.
- The ride is closed or has modified operations during cold or rainy weather.
What to know before you ride
- Getting significantly wet is essentially guaranteed.
- A final drop creates a large splash.
- Some riders get completely soaked; others stay relatively dry depending on raft position.

Mateo's Take
“On a hot July afternoon, Grizzly River Run is one of the best things in the park. On a 65-degree day in March, it's a terrible idea. Know the weather, bring a poncho, and embrace the chaos.”

Goofy's Sky School is a wild mouse-style roller coaster with tight corners, small drops, and a general feeling of barely controlled chaos. Rougher than Disney's bigger coasters, but a fun quick thrill for guests who want speed without the intensity of Incredicoaster.

Pixar Pal-A-Round is a 150-foot Ferris wheel at Pixar Pier offering stunning panoramic views of DCA, Disneyland, and beyond. At boarding, you choose between two gondola types: non-swinging (smooth, family-friendly) or swinging (gondolas that pendulum dramatically as the wheel rotates).
