About this ride

The coaster is themed as if Gadget Hackwrench from Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers built it from oversized everyday objects. Brief and smooth, with gentle curves and a small dip — just enough excitement for a first-time coaster rider without any genuine fear.

Best time to ride

Morning with toddlers. Never a long wait.

Mateo's Take

Gadget's Go Coaster is precisely one thing: the best first coaster experience you can give a child who is nervous about roller coasters. Nothing more and nothing less. The ride is short, smooth, themed around Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, and specifically engineered to deliver just enough of the coaster experience, a small hill, a gentle descent, some curve work, without any of the elements that make coasters genuinely frightening. If your child has been watching older siblings or parents ride Big Thunder Mountain and wants to try a coaster for the first time, Gadget's is the perfect entry point. After this, the progression to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad makes complete sense. If your child is already comfortable with coasters, there is nothing here for them. For adults without young children, Gadget's is a 90-second walk-on you can enjoy for its charming Toontown integration and then move on. It exists for one specific purpose. For that purpose, it is perfect.
