About this ride
Guests seat in rows along each side of the vessel, facing portholes through which the underwater world is visible. The experience combines real water views with projection-mapped screens that seamlessly insert Nemo, Dory, Crush, and other characters into what appears to be a live underwater environment. The submarine's interior is surprisingly tight.
Best time to ride
Good as a midday filler when major attractions have long waits.

Mateo's Take
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage is one of the most technically interesting attractions in the park and also one of the easiest to skip on a tight schedule. The experience of sitting inside a functioning-looking submarine while projected Nemo, Dory, and Crush appear to swim through real water outside your porthole is genuinely clever. The seamless blending of actual water views with animated characters through the porthole windows creates an illusion that still impresses me after multiple rides. The inside of the submarine is tight, genuinely tube-like, and 15 minutes long. On a one-day visit with limited time, I would only prioritize this for families with children who are obsessed with the film. Their reaction to Nemo appearing in a porthole window is worth the commitment. For everyone else, it's a charming midday filler when the major rides are backed up and you want something calm with somewhere to sit.

Pirates of the Caribbean is the original Disney dark ride masterpiece — the one that set the template for everything that followed. Walt Disney himself oversaw its creation, and it opened in 1967 as the last attraction he personally supervised. You drift through moonlit bayous and into a chaotic port town under siege by buccaneers.

Jungle Cruise is Disneyland's original opening-day comedy boat ride — a live skipper-led river tour past animatronic wildlife where the puns are the point. No height requirement, no Lightning Lane, and one of the best morning rides in Adventureland when paired with Indiana Jones.
